Hi all,

actually I use two old Beo 4 without navy button with my BV 7 in main room and BV 10 in link room (connected via masterlink).

I would like to replace one Beo 4 by a new Beo 4 with navy button, because remoting the internal bluray player of BV 7 with the old Beo 4 is not much fun (you have always to press the yellow button before a command).

Of course I can use my BV 10 with Beo 4 without navy button and BV 7 with Beo 4 with navy button. But my question is:

Can I then still remote my BV 7 from link room (BV 10) with Beo 4 without navy button? Or I will need two new Beo 4 with navy button?

Thanks for your answer.

Greetings

Hi Räuber,

When you setup your main system for Beo4 Navi, using the main system from link room is limited, as linking does not support the navi button, as far as I remember. So using Beo4 Navi in link room will not help as the navi buttons will not be sent to main room.

I once used it in this way, but then reverted main system to standard beo4 without navi button. In the moment a cannot test your desired configuration, maybe someone else can test or confirm.
