Just ruined my Beolit, everything went okay, spent a lot of time rescuing this baby but now I did this
Anyone who can help me please with a glass scale with all the prints still on it?
Brengen & Ophalen
OMG Leslie what did you do, hope someone can help you, there is a guy in Ry in DK, Peter I think, he is forum member and has some Beolit.
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
You must know how it feels when something goes wrong after spending so much work on this restoration! Hopefully someone can help me.
Btw Soren, read something in the newspaper about an earthquake in Mexico. Any serious things over there?

Nothing serious happened, but yes it was a big one, apparently my house is well built, I got a little nervous. Lamps went 10 Cm to each side. I really hope you get some help with your Beolit
Could someone who has this radio make a picture of the glass scale please?
Maybe I can manage to make a repro?
Looks like I'm the only one who has such a radio
Leslie,
What exactly went wrong that caused the scale on the glass-plate to (partly) dissappear?
Did you try to clean it? I feel very sorry for you but maybe others can 'learn' and avoid making the same mistake.
I'll keep my eyes open for a similar Beolit at some (local) Scandinavian auction sites
Hi Leslie,I'll look arround when I go Denmark in May.In case you find a scaleglass with minor damage, just be aware that there's always the possibility to get some replica's printed.In the Netherlands you have Ben Dijkman who is specialized in printing scale glasses.About 2 years ago, Ben made some Grand Prix 506 replica scale glasses for me.
@Ferdinand & Rudy,
Thanks guys for responding! What can you learn from my mistake? Well, never never clean such old glassplates. I have tried alcohol first (a bit) and nothing seems to happen untill I have been using dishwasher (Dubro) and during wiping you already can guess what happens. Rudy, I already have tried to contact Ben Dijkman (ipaul's advise) a few day ago but no response (yet). I hope you can find such a radio in Denmark. Condition can be bad except for the glass scale. Another member Teddy_fr has such a radio (found in the old forum) and have send him an email, but also no response. Cheers and thank you!
Contact with Ben
