Hi,

Can some one tell me what the difference is between the two?

I had a pair of s45-2 speakers years ago and destroyed them with stupidity.

Still have them but the crossovers were fried and somewhat rebuilt (inferior) and the woofers are substandard replacements.

I would like to find another pair as i really enjoyed  them.(and have regained sanity)

I see s45's on e bay but there are some visual differences in the back.

I must say that I know nothing about what I am asking so simple would be great!

Still have my Beogram 4002 and it is a joy..

Thank you

They are of equal quality but the backs are resin and have a different fixing method for mounting.I think you would not be able to hear any real difference between them assuming the S45s are in good condition.
