Hi,

I had 2 of these remotes. One with the Sat Button (I believe mk2); and the DTV Button Version (I believe mk3). Anyway I sold the mk2 version kept the mk3 version. My son has XBox and decided to switch it on and can't get to Aux to get it working. Aux was on the mk2 version and he had no problem using that version. I thought keeping the later version was a better decision; is there something I can do to get the mk3 working for him??Thanking you all in advance.

Hi.

You can get access to the a.aux by adding it to the list button. Then press go.

I think that the X-box was probably set to be V.AUX.

You may need to add 'V.AUX' to the functions accessed from the LIST button on the Mk3 remote.  To do so:

  • press the standby (Red) button and at the same time the LIST button, you should see CONFIG? in the screen of your Beo4;
  • press LIST until you see ADD? and then press GO, you will now see the text on the screen of your Beo4 is blinking;
  • press LIST until you see V.AUX and then press GO until it stops blinking. The function is now added to your Beo4 and you can press exit.

To use V.AUX, just press LIST until V.AUX shows on the Beo4 screen and then press GO.

Hi,

 Thanks very much for your replies; I have managed to Add V.Aux and  also the A.Aux and I still can't seem to get the Xbox working still. Any other ideas as the Xbox worked perfectly well until the change of remote only. My son seems to remember it being either on V.Aux or A.Aux once he was on SAT. Obviously now its on DTV and then he presses LIST until he gets V.Aux or A.Aux and he has tried both and we can't seem to get anywhere. I was wondering if there might be a software issue where the remote needed upgrading or something like that. Thanks again.

Does pressing V Aux on the remote bring up V Aux on the TV?
