Hello all, this is my first time posting on this site, hope some one can help - this is driving me crazy.I have had my B&O system for years and love it, except for this recent problem with the speakers intermittently turning off when in radio mode. I have the BeoSound 3200 with BeoLab 8000, 3500 and and Beolink Passive speakers. It started several months ago when the the BeoLink Passive speakers would turn off for serveral hours to days. As these are in my workshop and not a big deal I would just switch from radio to music. But now it is happening to the wall mounted BeoLab 3500 as well. It will go off for hours to a day or two, but the BeoLab 8000 speakers are always OK. I have gone through the timer setting to make sure they were all deleted and have checked through all setting and it seems to be right.
Any help would be really appreciated

Hi Bob,
No one else seems to have any suggestions so here's a long shot! Do you have a plasma TV screen in the room? Sometimes plasma IR interference can inadvertently affect other IR systems in the same room - possibly switching them on/off.
This would explain why it only affected the passive speakers as I assume they are connected to an ML IR sensor, which apparently is quite susceptible to such interference.

If I understand you correctly the problem occurs on the link speakers only. The directly connected Beolabs are working correctly. So I would expect that ML-wiring is generating the problem. I would try to check if all connections and plugs are OK.
