Hello Beoworlders,

A long time ago,  the classic BeoVision Avant and Ouverture infected me with the BeoVirus. In the meantime nearly all rooms are masterlinked and equipped with at least one B&O item. Just last year we finished renewing our house and switched to a BeoVision 10 for the living room. The Beovision 10 is paired with a BeoSystem 2 and a lot of Lintronic stuff to drive a beamer and an electric screen. Everything is working perfectly. As BS2 was second life, costs were some kind of reasonable.

Last week end I saw the BeoVision 12. You may guess what happened:

Yesterday I ordered a BeoVision 12, Installation will be in about two weeks. No second life BeoSystem 3, as initially intended. It comes with a brand new BeoSystem 3 3D. Costs are in no way rational, but suffering from BeoVirus, I think I have to accept my fate. I'm curious about things to come.....

Thank You All,

The Panasonic-BeoSystem2 combo is my bedroom Link-System. (in fact I couldn't bear my living room TV to be smaller than my bedroom TV, so it was an urgent necessity to upgrade my BV10 to a BV12)

Congratulations. It's a great TV. I must be starting to annoy my dealer as I've been in the store five times to get a BV12 demo. It's so good. Was back in there at lunch (last time for a while, I promise) and we were watching a clip on BBC HD. Even the dealer was stunned by some of the colour definition. We were all blown away. Everything about it screams quality.

Only downside is....it gets very very warm/hot. Standing in front of the TV is like a radiator set to a low value. Not sure how easily I'd cope with that in summer - it really does get very warm.

Perhaps your dealer has the color temperature set too warm?  Devil

I went into our local dealer recently with the intention of selling our entire tv system, to help fund an impromptu house purchase.

I have now managed to achieve the goal of getting rid of the system, but only in as much as it is to be exchanged for a brand new shiny 10-46 in black!

Life and new house on hold, new B&O TV on order!....meWhistle

Good Morning BeoWolders,

Yesterday my BV12 was installed (Pics will follow). Although the technischans were really fit and dedicated, there remain two issues we could not solve till almaost midnight:

First: If an additional IR-eye is plugged into IR-IN to support cinema mode, the BV12 IR-eye is blocked. So you have to plug/unplug when swiching cinema mode on/off.

Second: I use the Gefen 1.3 HDI swich, which I used on BV10. The PUC is installed, but it seems BS3 doesn't remember the PUC-Definition. The PUC-cable i plugged into IR 1+2.

Does anybody have an idea, what could be wrong?
