I have little room for floor standing speakers and need shelf type for my centre. Suggestions please as to best for my needs to suit this model. I like Jazz and classical music.

Beovox S45 or Beovox S45-2 springs to mind (pick type 6302 or 6312 - I would avoid type 6427) or the
rarer two-way Beovox S40 (check for foam rot).
They are considered some of the best sounding and well balanced speakers for their (small) size.
Smaller alternative : Beovox 1700 or 1702, also Beovox S30 (6301).
Larger alternative : Beovox S60 or from the newer series Beovox S55 or S80 (check for foam rot).
Panel speakers : Beovox P30 or P45.

All are very nice sounding speakers.

I agree completely with Martin - S45-2 is the one to go for really - if shelf mounting, remember this will accentuate bass. The amplifier in the 2200 seems to have a relatively heavy bass reponse anyway so speakers with a clear top end are an advantage.
