Good afternoon,
I have one of the above units which has not been used for several years. When the Tone Arm returns to the "Off" position it drops so that the stylus is resting on the deck. Can this be corrected please and how should I proceed?..... I am mechanically competent.

The tonearm may have come "unhooked" or the lift function does not work, there is a manual onsite for silver and gold members, with good descriptions about this problem. You will have to put the deck in service position to get at the mechanics, could be simple problem, but these decks are prone to one failure in the tonearm support. Check this thread it may help you.
