Hi all, Could anyone help please. I'm looking to connect an I-Pod to my Beosound 3000. The cables are connected pressed Aux but no sound. Now it looks as if you have to programme the system but looking at the reference book I may only be possible using a remote ie, Beo4. Is this the case or can it be done manually and if so how? As before thank you in advance. Stuart.

Looks like you have a cable problem.as no special programming is required.

Plug the lead into the AUX socket, the other end into your iPod. Select play on the iPod and Aux on the Beosound and the music should play through your speakers.

One thing to check is that you have not connected it to a Powerlink socket instead of the AUX socket.

Also remember to set the iPod's volume to max. And the volume limiter -setting!

Thanks Graham and Madskp. It is connected properly but I now assume that there is a fault in the cable as I have tried 2 different I-Pod's. The cable was bought from Steve so I will email him and see what he suggests. Cheers again Stuart.
