Can we expect spotify in the near future in the beosound 5?

Who knows, technically it should not be that difficult (not taking into account the software delivery issues B&O has (had)).
I do not think you can expect this on the short term, especially the more they integrate with functionality like airplay or offer integration via Airport Express like functionality (not limited to Apple :-), you can arrange this yourself as well.

I do agree, that could be a really nice feature to have this option, I am not a MAC user, and does therefore not use iTunes.
I would like to have Spotify to explore some music, but I would still buy music to get it into my BM5 in lossless quality. AND, also continue to use the MOTS feature.
Based upon feedback from this forum, I went on the waiting list and was one of the first to get Spotify when it came to the US, and have had a paid account ever since. I love it, my whole family use it everyday, and I tell everyone about it. Buuuuuuut......
The beauty of Spotify comes from playing with the interface on my Mac and "lending" whatever I want to my iDevice. I cannot visualize how having the Spotify API in a BeoSound 5 would bring much value (and yes, I am aware Spotify is working hard on the embedded player concept) when you can easily connect it to BS5 AAUX via your mobile player.
If there is a way it could be added to BS5 with good usability, I'm all for it. But how could it be done in a way that isn't pretty sloppy?
