HI

How can i connect my Beovision 3 to my apple express? I wan´t to hear music via the speakers in the Beovision 3.  I have tried with a Beolink Video but it don´t work. Is this the way to go?

Hi Bundy,

The easiest way is probably to connect it to one of the 3 Scarts.

Use a 3,5 m.m. to RCA cable and attach the red and white RCA to a SCART adapter..

Another choice is of course to use an Apple TV so you get full advantage of allocating one of the SCARTs.
A second hand Apple TV 1st. generation is easily hacked with ATV Flash to be able to connect directly to scart without any extra converters. Then you get both sound and picture and more fun for the same price.. :)

Good luck!

Hi Bundy,

the easiest way is to connect the APE to R/L of the close-up socket panel.

If you don't use the AV-socket, you could use a scartadapter with analog R/L input..

Or use the digital input 1 (AV-socket) and a 'toslink to spdif-converter'.

If the tv is in 'Option2', you can use  the command 'AV' before the 'Source' to get sound without turning on the picture.

Please consult the userguide of the tv.

Greetings Millemissen
