Hello beoworlders,
I have just purchased a powerlink switch from bosscom. After initial set up, the powerlink switch does not work properly. Let me explain my set up and problem below:My equipments: a pair of Beolab 3, beolab 2, Beosound 5 encore, a sony TV and an oppo 103 bluray player with built in 7.1 analog out put and volume control. The reason I purchased the powelink switch is I would like to 'share' Beolab 3+beolab2 with beosound 5 encore and oppo bluray player. I believe these equipments should work with your powerlink switch. My connection: beolab 3s => Beolab 2' s outputs by powerlinkbeolab 2's input => powerlink switch output by powerlinkoppo's front left and right analog output => powerlink switch's input 1 thru the cable you have provided beosound 5 encore => powerlink switch 's input 2And I have adjusted powerlink switch's 'noise reduction for old b&o ' and input 1 signal auto detect' to on.And I have also adjusted 'input signal level' to middle range on the powerlink switch. After the above connection, while I play a disc on my oppo bluray player, no sound is comig from all my b&o speakers; and when i switch off oppo bluray player, and play beodound 5 encore, there is quite lound noise coming from my b&o speakers. Can someone tell me what is going on, and what is the best solution.Btw, I have switched beolab 3 into 'left' and 'right in its internal set up. If I switch to 'line', there is quite loud noise coming from beolab 3s. oppo 103 information page: http://www.oppodigital.com/blu-ray-bdp-103/
Many thanks!
anyone?
what cable do you use to connect your non-B&O system to bosscom's own cable adapter? I use a Qued cable, do i need a special cable?
