Can any one help? I have a BV10-46 master linked to a BS9000 in the same room. Speakers connected to BV10, BV10 set in option 2 BS9000 in option 0. Link room TV option 6. How do I get timed radio to play through link room TV?

Steve.

Hi,

You must turn on the timer play funktion on the link tv.

On the BV 10 you can also turn on or off the timer function.

On my set up I use the BS9000 for the timer settings and then activate the 'timer play' function in the rooms that need to come on.

Works fine but if I get rid of my 9000 I'm stuffed timer wise.

Have tried to use BS9000 time function, will not allow me to program timer, it just displays TV enabled?

Timer programming doesn't work if BS 9000 is in option 0. Then you need a Beovision with an integrated timer (BV 7), BV 10 only reacts to a timer.

Away from home at the moment but will check when I get home.

The timer definitely works for me with the BS9000 doing the work. It starts the CD, radio and the BS5 functions as well.

I think the tv is on option 2 and the BS9000 & BS5 on option 0. We don't have a link tv but 5 other sets of speakers and they all work on the timer

Tested the timer and everything worked.

BV10, BS9000. & BS5 all connected in lounge. BV10 in option 2 with BS9000 & BS5 in option 0.

If I try to change the sound controls etc via the BS9000 it displays 'tv operated' however it will allow the timer to be programmed normally. The link rooms then come on normally as long as the play timer function is activated.

Hope this works for you

Hi Peter,

This is normal message. The sound controls are setup from your BV, instead of your BS.

The only way to set your soundsettings is via your television. You have to set timer to on and there you go. The optionsetting in your setup are right, so do not worry.

Enjoy your system!

This is reasonable with BV 10 in option 2 and BS 9000 in option 0, because BV 10 has no own timer. In my setup (BV 7 in option 2, BS 9000 in option 0) I can't program a timer on BS 9000 (display shows "TV OPERATED"), but on BV 7.
