Dear members,

is the Beovision MX4000 Type 33/33 ETS One Way oder Two Way? Apparently it's a MK II example from 1994. Thanks!

Kai

Just in case anybody even today has a similar question: it's two way. Wink

By the way: is there a possibility to connect a MX4000 to a Beocenter 9500?

Kai

It should be possible with a 7 pin DIN cable from the AUX socket of the MX to the AUX socket on the Beocenter, but I'm not sure.

Vinyl records, cassettes, open reel, valve amplifiers and film photography.

I have seen the socket and already suspected that this might be possible. The question is, whether I can have a fully integrated system that is operated with the Beolink 7000. Let's see whether anybody knows for sure. The old Beovision MX4000 didn't have Masterlink...

Kai

Søren is right. You just need an Audio Aux Link cable.

But I`m surprised that your MX MKII from 1994 is a two way product.

As far as I remember, MKII were introduced in 1989/90 and they were one way.

If you have a two way MX you can control the whole system in two way mode via BL7000.

I can't confirm yet. I have to try and will let you know. But it has Software 1.1 mounted. According to Ulf, that's two-way capable. Also, Beoworld says that one-way was introduced to the MX4000 in 1995, doesn't it?

Beolink 5000 does show me two-way information. Therefore, it seems to be two-way. I'll also try the Beolink 7000, however. Then I'll know for sure.

It's most definitely two-way.

Greetings,
