Hello, I waited for months now ever since the new TV platform appeared on the market (v1 and BeoVision 11), with the hope that we have a new beosystem 3.

but it seems like nothing happens, anyone know anything?

I do not understand how they can sell the BeoVision 12 ,7-55 ,4-85, 103, whit the old platform .

dear bang olufsen  dealers how du you do this ?

It would be reasonable to introduce new BV 7 with the new platform and a new Beosystem 4 for BV 12 and other future panels. But I believe only a new platform would be not enough for an updated BV 7 to increase sales, probably a 4K panel is also needed. But this will not happen in near future, I assume we have to wait at least until the end of 2014.

I own a BeoVision 9 with beoliving, and we are interested only  for projector 4k ultra hd  ,3d ,plus extra smart tv, puck and software via the Internet.

We are totally satisfied with 1080, for daily viewing.

and anyway, it will take a long time here in Denmark , when TV channels will tranzmite in 4k, and certainly will be very expensive.

But that's one reason why the BV11/V1 new platform won't migrate to a BS3, as it doesn't support external projectors etc etc. B&O would have to come up with another, professional-level, platform and I don't think they view it as a priority.

few years ago, they said that they will create the same platform for all tv.

I think that they did ,with v1 bv11 tv, and all that will be same platform in the near future for all tvs only different software.

I had a dealer tell me it would be reasonable to hold off buying a BV12/BS3 in anticipation of a replacement for the BS3 encompassing the new BV11/V1 features.
