That Experian note made me think of this Scotland thread from the old forum archive.
But odd things are happening: a new furniture store about to open in Liverpool 1 is advertising B&O. Is this a new outlet for the B&O Liverpool Castle Street store? Are the stand-alone stores now striking up new in-store alliances?
Opman ........... can you enlighten us?
Graham
Perhaps Stocktons have bought the Liverpool shop from B&O, who were running it directly.
In a way it would make sense - i know at least two generations of Stocktons are/were B&O users - in fact, back in my former life, I sold & installed Breck Stockton his first and second Belink systems in his houses near Altrincham.
Interesting development, whatever is going on.
It is a product placement deal I think, as the B&O store has just had its demo room refitted by Stocktons.
The Deansgate store also used to have simelar arrangements.
bnoblueboy: The Deansgate store also used to have simelar arrangements.
And look how well that ended
Although, joking aside, I didn't think Stocktons were involved with Deansgate - thought it was a shop from (ironically) Liverpool area. maybe they were as well.
Our local M&S use to have a Beosound overture on what appeared to be a permanent loan from a local B&O store so this will be a similar arrangement I would think...?
Olly
im sure it was stocktons
Hello All
I can assure you that Bang & Olufsen of Liverpool is still in business and owned directly by Bang & Olufsen UK.
The presence in Stocktons new showroom in Liverpool is simply a marketing alliance. We are happy to be associated with Stocktons and have loaned them some products which are on display in their showroom (BeoVision7 55, BeoSound5 Encore and BeoSound8's). In return, they have given our cinema room a makeover. This is not a new idea as we and many other Bang & Olufsen dealers have arranged loans/placements to like minded businesses.
Its great to see that our products have been seen and it has created a talking point.Whicj is what it is all about.
