Hi,

I just picked up a beocenter 7700 this week-end. It works good, sing like a charm, but needs some cosmetic repairs.

Ideally, it would need 2 new covers (aluminium is heavily scratched, and the automatic door opening system upon the tape reader is broken (upper right corner on the picture).

Same with the plastic part where all the instruction are written, it is broken at the tape level.

Any ideas where I could find spare, or tips to at the minimum repai the automatic door opening system ?

Thanks for your help

Eric

I have a Beocenter 7007 laying around, can send parts to you for the price of postage if they are in good nick.

Vinyl records, cassettes, open reel, valve amplifiers and film photography.

Hi Søren

Thanks for your kind proposition, I would be glad to receive some parts to make this lovely system appears good again.

I think both are quite identical except the turnable cover.

I  will check the parts I need and send you a PM.

Hello Eric,

You're welcome - I was about to throw it out because it is missing a turntable cover, has a stuck motor in the tape transport and has numerous electrical issues.

I'll dust it off and take some pictures tomorrow.

Vinyl records, cassettes, open reel, valve amplifiers and film photography.
