"Incorporating the known features and connectivity from BeoVision 11 we will be launching
the next generation BeoSystem during August/September. The new product will eventually
replace BeoSystem 3 and will be put on the market at a reduced recommended price, compared
to BeoSystem 3."

I think that's great news - going forward by putting newer technology into the main cinema driver. I'm delighted to see this. Especially news of an improved price point.

Hopefully the BSys4 will in time find its way into the high end TV's too to allow easy projector operation like the Bv7 currently does.

I guess we'll need to wait and see what they add to the BeoSystem 3? You might get the best of the BV11 chassis, plus some extra professional features such as projector support.

Have to agree sounds like an excellent move.

Lets hope I don't have to spend all my money on my upcoming extensions so I can afford this!

Lets Hope it has Projector Output like the Bs3 has???  As for the lower price point thats good news but I wonder how much lol?

Can't remember what the price of the Bs3 is,knowing B&O it will be something like £6,000 new price point £5,999 Wink  If its £4,000 and under it will sell really well I guess, also wonder what Screen's will connect to the New Bs4?

Sounds like things are moving forward with New Products at last Big Smile

It definitely does have projector out via HDMI, and the projector control part/external IR etc.

Hi Martin,

if YOU say so, it sure is right....

...anything else wouldn't make sense anyway.

Just wondering if the first product with the 'new BSys' will be an updated BV12 😄

Hi Millemissen, i'm sure the BV12 will in time run with the BSys 4, its the only screen that currently uses the BSys 3, and I certainly haven't seen any other screens with an external control unit 😊

I don't think it will change the BV12 much, just the difference in features between a Bv7 and Bv11

"not change much"...

..I think it makes THE difference!

And - I would prefer a BV with a seperate BSys4, because it could be hidden away with stuff like BRP, converter, settop boxes and more - and give easy access to the HDMI-ports if needed.

But that is just me!

I totally agree on that one - i too would prefer a separate control system to the screen. People do seem to struggle to get their heads around it though. Its the whole fear of cables thing!

Well, cables look like snakes, and we all know where that got started and the result! Yes - thumbs up

Jeff

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

There is no problem hiding cables if you have a mind too. My FS decided she wanted 3 phase after I finished wiring then tiling everywhere... :-( it was done.

Last week she now wants mains gas through a 12th century basement... that's not going to happen ! ;-)
