I have a beomaster with beovox RL35  in  my main room, which is connected to a MCL2A with beovox RL 60.2 on the other side of the main room (set to option 4), which in turn is connected to a MCL2AV with MCL2P and beovox CX100 in the bedroom, which in turn is connected to a MCL2A with Beovox CX50  in the kitchen.

My problem is that I am not able turn up and down  the volume in the bedroom like it is supposed to be: If I am only 6 dB above the volume in the main system, the main system increases along, and if the main system is turned down, the bedroom goes along.

I have tried to change and reset all the options, but is that my problem? Is there an error in the MCL2 AV?

Thanks so much.

Is this a 'new' setup to you?

When did you first notice it?

How is the 2AV set up?

Greetings Millemissen

This is a completely new setup, I bought from different people. The setup of the MCL2AV is option 2,5, and set to active speakers (with timer pressed set to AV with beolink 1000), beacuse I read that somewhere, but I think that does not apply because I have only powerlink connectors.

I first noticed it when I changed my speakers from beovox 1000 to beovox CX100, because the latter can handle more power and thus I increaded the volume.

From the MCL Handbook:

"When using the X-tra speaker kit the volume adjustment is common with that in the Central room and any other X-tra speaker kits."

"The X-tra active speaker kit has built-in “volume control”. This volume control permits you to reduce the volume in the link room without affecting the volume in other rooms. The volume can be increased by 12 dB in the link room without affecting the volume in other rooms. If the volume is increased further, the volume in other rooms will be increased comparatively."

Today I connected a second MCl 2 AV in the system, and this one also changes the main room when the difference is more than 6 db. So is there somewere in my system a limitation that causes this? I was hoping that there was an easy explanation for this :(

Still no thoughts guys?
