Maybe wasted with the British summer but was debating putting some speakers onto the patio area before I finish boarding up the decking and can still get access.
So I could get a beolink passive with remote eye outside in weatherproof box and connect it into mt BS9000. This way I have full access to CD's and music via the laptop through Airport on the AUX.
Or
Beolit 12 but this wouldn't give me access to Cd's etc then there is how long the battery lasts etc
Does anyone have an outdoor setup??
I would be interested in anyones thoughts on this.
My dealer has some rather nice outdoor speakers (not sure if they are B&o or not because I can't find them). They are about 2' high chrome rectangles with lights in someone may have an idea
Regards Mark
There is actually an outdoor case available for the IR eye, do not know if it is original B&O but a quick use of Google gave me this answer:
http://sound-affair.com/Bang_Olufsen_Accessories/Bang_Olufsen_Beolink/BeoLink_Eye_Case
I do not believe any of B&O's speakers are suitable for outdoor use (maybe the Beovox in wall speakers) so finding a non B&O speaker would probable be the best if you want a fixed installation.

My B&O products: Beosound 9000, Beosound 2300, Beosound Century, Beolab 8000, Beolab 6000, Beolab 4000 x2, Beolab 3500, Beolab 2000, Beolab 10, Beolink Active x2, Beotime, Beo5 x2, Beo4, A9 keyring x2, LC2 dimmer x6 and growing....
I went down the wireless route using a pair of Wireless 1's and a Beolab 2000 which I already had. That way there was no wiring and it is totally portable and doesn't need to be weatherproof as I just bring it inside and used in any room.

Hi
4 years ago we renovated our house and just outside the kitchen we have this space to relax in. In the roof we have 2 Beovox 1 connected to Beolink passive with IR eye placed on the wall.
This works just perfect, even our kids are turning the music on when they play in the garden. And we use it the whole year around as we do also grill a lot on our Weber Genesis grill (connected to the housing gas).
