Does anybody know this book?

http://www.amazon.de/Flexible-Firm-Design-Culture-Olufsen/dp/1845456688/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1332876018&sr=8-14

Is it worth reading?

If yes..it could be a potential birthday present for myself ;-)

Cheers,

Kiwi

I don't know about that book, but there are several books that I can recommend.

This book by the Jarman brothers is captivating the perspective of Vintage B&O. A very good read that sure brings back a lot of memories from older readers. It tells about the most important products from the 1960's to the mid 1990's, and includes a small guide on how to restore vintage audio equipment.

I would also recommend "Bang & Olufsen - Vision and Legend", both the thick (900 pages) and the thin (120 pages) by Jens Bang. He is telling about his experiences at B&O from a more commercial point of view, a very good read.

Also, Christian Holmsted Olesen Has written a book about Jacob Jensen and his design with many examples from his time at B&O.

Vinyl records, cassettes, open reel, valve amplifiers and film photography.

Hi Soren, (where is the "o" with the line on a german keyboard???)

of course i own all the books you mentioned :-)

There are two versions of the "thick" Vision and Legend book, one to celebrate the first 75 years, and the other for the first 80 years.

Hi Kiwi4all,

That ø is a little difficult to find on non-scandinavian keyboards Laughing

It's good to know that you are a true connoisseur!

If you work with windows, the ø is under the ALT 0248  (press ALT and then type 0248 on the numberpad to the right)
