All,
i have a Beosystem 3 which I use solely for a projector/music room. The audio source is a B&O Overture, which in turn has a record deck connected via the aux input.
My query relates to the audio settings, ie bass & treble. Can I assign a different default bass/treble setting for each different source? For example, the video source would default to a sound setting with more bass whereas a cd or record player source would have an audio setting with much less bass.
I can select different default speakers for audio or tv but it would appear that the bass/treble/loudness settings are global. I find that a suitable sound setting for movies, with lots of bass (which is superb btw!) is far too bassy for listening to music.
Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
kind regards
Julian
Hi Julian,
It is not possible to set different sound setting for each source. But you can set two different settings for TV mode and CINEMA mode.

Hi Hfat,
Thanks for confirming that.... unfortunately I don't have a TV connected to the system, only a projector so I don't think I can use the TV settings?

if your projector has two inputs you could use both and use TV and CINEMA mode.
