Hello,
in the past only a for few VERY expensive cars one could buy/install B&O car speakers (e.g. Aston Martin or top range BMW's), and when I bought my 2006 Chrysler Sebring Convertible three years ago, this car did clearly not fall into that category -- so no B&O in there.
I may be buying a new/used car later this year so keen to find out the current situation. I googled a bit, but could nowhere find a good/complete list of car models/make in which B&O car speakers can currently be installed.
can anybody point me to such list or have more info than found on e.g. wikipedia ?
thanks
Rene
I cannot tell you the list.
What I can tell you is that if you are lucky enough to be able to go for an Aston Martin, don't be put of by its ICE (Stereo) configuration. The cabin noise under a properly revving V8V, V12V or the DB9 configuration makes any decent stereo system (Linn 160W, Alpine 700W or the B&O system) completely superfluous.
i.e. don't get hung-up on the stereo compared to the machine itself.
