Would the Philips MBF active loudspeakers be possible to connect to a Beocenter 2300? What is needed in terms of connectors and wiring?

Hi,

this should work fine. The switch (SKC) at the back of the MFB's should be set to 1V / 10KOhm (upper psoition)  and the other switch (SKD) should be set to left / right according to the positioning of the speakers. Any 5 Pin DIN cable ( 5Pin plug to 5 pin plug) should work.

The speakers are activated by the signal they receive, not by the B&O Power Signal. Just plug the DIN cable into the powerlink socket of the Beocenter 2300 and the other end to one speaker IN. then from this speakers OUT to the other speakers IN, or i you like take 2 DIN cables from the two powerlink connectors to the 2 speakers IN.

Regards

Thank you very much!

I think this setup will be easier, if not as intrigueing, than connecting the BS2300 to my Avant TV! Maybe I'll give the latter a try some time later on, for the time being I'm eager to get some sound out of the BS2300 (and of the MFBs)!
