Hey all, new user here- just got a beogram 3404 to match my long standing 2400 receiver...

However, I am disappointed to find out that the remote function does not seem to be working:

I press the "P" on the beomaster 2400 remote, and the 3404 does not que the record...

Any thoughts?

First thing I would check is the din plug. Are all wires properly connected and clean/not oxidated and not broken from the pins. You can only check by taking the plug apart.

Looked at the DIN pin on the 3404: Only has 5 pins, should be 7 pins...There are 2 pins missing - I am told these pins are screw in, and very hard to find,,,

Found and installed the pins.

Turntable remote function is now working

Thanks,

Steve
