I'm thinking of buying a beomaster 5500 to my Beomaster 3500.
Which connections should I use?
One option is the RCA line out to the 3500's Tape-in, ie having a "normal" one-way connection.
But they both have powerlink in/out-puts, what would the result be if I used that? Will the 3500 always turn on and play when use the 5500 and vice-versa?
Any info regarding this would be greatly appreciated!

I must be missing something. What is the purpose of connecting these two audio masters together?!
The 5500 would run my computer loudspeaker in my bedroom, but be able 3500 to send the sound onto the livingroom/3500 if I want to.
Using a beomaster 5500 for this is rather overkill, the right mini-amp would do it as well, but hell, life's more FUN with a B&O in every room. :)
Also, I've found one rather cheap.
OK; that's a valid wish. B&O kit (of that era, anyway) isn't really prepared for having two audio masters in the same setup. The B&O way would be to have a link box in the other room, without any Beomaster. So your best option is to connect them in the plain old fashioned way, i.e tape out of one Beomaster to some line level input of the other.
You can connect it both ways, but I wouldn't recommend it; as you (or anybody playing with the remote) might end up looping the signal and getting a feedback howl that'll damage your speakers.

I see, pity.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Should work if you connect TAPE2/AUX out of your BM5500 to TV/AUX input of your BM3500.
The source you selected on BM5500 should be present with line level signal on that AUX socket.
Should also work the other way round. But don`t select A.AUX on BM3500 and TAPE2 on BM5500 simultaneously, as mika said.
You will find more info about wiring on Beotech site.
