Hi,
Anyone know if it's possible to operate a Beomaster 5500 without the remote? Looks like you can with the 5000.
Thanks
Nope, there is no flip-down panel on a 5500.
thanks for that
Looks like it would not be much use to me then, as I don't want to shell out for the oversized remote.
Try Beolink 1000, it's not oversized.
blah-blah and photographs as needed
Both Beolink 1000 and Beo4 can be used.
Oh go on then, I'll kill this one.
Get a Beo4 and, unlike with the Beolink 1000, you will retain command of the much prized LOUDNess function.

Well -it depends on the speakers if you have to use Loudness...
hi out there
I have hit the same problem - LOUNDNESS stored on and my MCP5500 is - well - in a bad shape - I have a beo4 and beolink 1000 - but I can't disable the loundness on my beomaster 5500.
Those beolink 1000 I have havent got the SHIFT buttom - and the Beo4 wont show me the loundness command in a "radio" context - any ideas?
