I purchased my BeoSoud 4 and BeoLab 4000 speakers in April 2007 and they have worked fine until yesterday. The electricity was off for a while and when it came back on the red light on the BeoSound 4 was on but not flashing. I am therefore unable to enter my pincode so I cannot access the menu or play CD's. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I get it working again?

Thanks, Lynne

After we have power outages I always press CD on the control panel, and that is when I get prompted to enter the pin code.  Have you tried to operate first ?

Thanks for the information but I have tried that. The system is still not working. I have also left the system unplugged overnight and then tried again in the morning - still no success.

It sounds like the eeprom or main chassis is defect Sad

You need to take it to an authorised repair centre.

I hope thats its nothing expensive Yes - thumbs up

Thanks. There is a dealer in Malaga - one of the lads working on my house also has a B&O system and will take me there sometime.
