Hi there,

I need some help and hopefully I can find it here.

Recently I bought a MX 7000 for some retro gaming, but since the picture is orientated a bit too much to the left side, I would like to correct the horizontal position.

I have the following MX 7000:

Type: 33/93 SW:1.0

Remote: Beolink 1000#

(an old geezer)

I already know that I can't access the service menu with the remote control like the newer models (with the Beo4 remote).

So my question is, how can I access the service menu.

I read at some youtube comments, that it would be possible to connect two pins at the back terminal with a wire to get access to the service menu. But honestly I don't know where I find these pins...

I hope someone can help.

To access the service menu involves removing the set back, not recommended unless you are fully aware of what you are doing.Ie,it's dangerous in there!!!!

The off centre image is due to your game console rather than the tv.Is there an option in the console set up to adjust this perhaps?

Alternatively, can you connect another way eg.via standard rca av connection, rather than scart?

Nick
