When can we expect a BV 11 MK2?
Both Sony, Philips and Samsung has upgraded their models.
Even if its still a nice TV the BV11 feel old...
Christer: Even if its still a nice TV the BV11 feel old...
Old? In what way is it 'old' ? Remember that B&O does not update anything in a hurry. That's always been the ethos of the brand. You invest for the future. You're not going to get a 4K BV11 only 7 months after launch! And not for the same price as the current model, that's for sure.
Other than 4K, what's old about the BV11?
Christer, the BV11 is definitely not old and is fresh off the production.
In the general scheme of products it's as new as they get.
All TV manufacturers bring out new TV models in January/February every year and thew new model is marginally different from teh one before and in fact very similar to the ones in the last 2-3 years. Don't be fooled into changing your TV every year or even two. In fact i would say that unless you have a real hunger for 3D there's not a signficant reason to change your HD television at all but of course some people have cash burning a hole in their pockets and want the newest product.
As Moxxey said, aside from 4k which is a few years off from being supported and affordable the Bv11 has it all including SMART functionality which is what i am after. I cant afford the £10,000 for a Bv11-55 inch so will have to settle for a Panasonic VT 55 inch.
Remember the Bv11 will be updated by software automatically so your Bv11 will have the latest functionality in the coming years.
