Hi,
From few days my BM 5500 switched itselfs off when I try to increase the volume (usually I listen on level 16). When I try to increase to 18 BM switches itself off. More surprisingly is that its redused the volume level to 14 after short time of use.
I noticed this issue on radio mode, still not try other modes-CD, phono. On AUX I thinks it works fine.
Any suggestions and help?

I had the same problem. I brought my BM5500 to a local b&o service center and they managed to fix it.
I asked them later and they told me it was something wrong with a logic circuit. Thats all I know.
My advice is that a professional take a look on it.
