Interestingly - I had a quick listen just using my  laptop speakers (crap) using the Foobar2000 ABX facility and managed to distinguish between the HD track and the Naim CD quality track 9 out of 10 times. I have not attempted to judge which I prefer but the two versions are noticeably different.

Ban boring signatures!

That sounds like a pretty gross level difference.

I listened to about the first 10 minutes but there seemed a lot of airy fairy wiffle spoken in amongst what facts were quoted. I liked the first comment below which roughly said "let them pass a blind ABX test first and then they can speak to us about the differences".

Fell asleep, and i was drivingErm..

If your really into music that much with it's obvious financial outlay,  just get a box in the Albert Hall for goodness sake. You would save a ton of cash, let alone the electronic clutter.

Very much a male obsession isn't it.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

Right on! First you have to demonstrate that there is a difference, then you have to quantify it, and then try and find the cause.
