Hi everyone, the door mechanism on my Beosound Century seems to disengage with the door itself nearly every time I activate it. The sensor is working fine, because I can see the lever mechanism move across the gap in the left-hand speaker, but it doesn't take the door with it. If I leave it, it then slides back and re-engages. Could anyone tell me how to fix this please? It seems like a simple fault, so hoping I can fix it at home!
Thanks to everyone who has already suggested the sensor may be at fault, it's helped me to narrow down the problem.
Really appreciate any advice you can offer!

Is it possible that someone has tried to manually close the door by sliding it to shut by hand? If so the door may have simply become detached form the sledge. If that is the case, open the door as normal and then apply a small amount of pressure to the right hand edge of the door to re-engage it. After initial resistance it should click back into place.
Good luck.

Logicaly its just what Opman said but it didnt help me. Had same issue and couldnt solve it with pushing door to the sledge cause they are tight hard. What i did isn't popular or safe but helped.
Thats what I do: Open doors and then pull power cable out of wall so doors can stay open. Remove them. Get em back so you hear four noisy clicks. Put power on and press radio or cd. Works for me every time, and it happens every now and then. Maybe in my case is some contact issue or logic board, dunno.
Really hope its what Opman said.
Thanks Guys,
I've checked and it clicks back fine but it comes off again the next time I attempt to open the door. It seems like the mechanism keeps coming off the door, so needs adjusting. Looks like it just clips on, so perhaps it's not quite tight enough? All ideas welcome!
