Hi

The sound on my bedroom tv (BeoCentre 6-23 ) is not functioning ... I can listen to  CDs through it, listen to radio too, but when I switch to DVT mode to watch TV  I get a perfect picture but no sound .... The main TV in living room  ( beovision 7-40 k4)  is working perfectly as is all other B&O stuff ... Any ideas??? I'd appreciate your thoughts... Was working perfectly ok yesterday!!! Grrr.

Hi Paul

The mono audio channel for Video sources is delivered through the coaxial cable and not the ML like audio sources.

Have you checked in the TV service menu what the modulator system is set too? It should be PAL I, sometimes I have seen this set to B/G from factory, strange that it has just stopped working?

May sound obvious, but have you tried powering it off? My BC6-26 used to lose sound in DTV mode now and again and powering off and back on used to fix it (I mean powering off at the wall socket). Has never done it since I switched to an external satellite box so assume it was a problem related to the internal DTV tuner module
