Setting Anti Skating on Beogram 2402

HI all,

I have a Beogram 2402 and I just had the case apart to free up the pin that controls the arm lift when it is returning to rest.

While I was in there, I accidentally knocked off the spring that controls the anti skating.  The end came out of the little brass holder that slides along the track (someone will know what I mean)   I put it back in, but now of course I am afraid the anti skating adjustment might be off. 

I downloaded the service manual but it talks about setting the anti skating using a test disc and oscilloscope.  Any help on how I might adjust for a proper anti-skating without such.
