Hey guys,

I got some stands for my RL6000s (thanks for identifying I could use the 60.2 stands with the 6000s) but I can't figure out exactly how they work. The stands have a flat piece at the top with some flanges that is secured by two allen screws. At first, I thought that maybe this assembly somehow screwed into the speaker but it looks like the speaker just "rests" on it?

Regardless, when I place the speaker on everything (vertical orientation with B&O logo at the bottom right, I've heard this is optimal) it's angled down to the ground instead of an upper angle. I can not figure out how to turn these parts around in whatever way is necessary, or worse if I'm missing pieces, that would make the speaker angle UP instead of down at the ground.

I don't know what model number this stand is so I can't even find the manual to read it.

Thanks in advance.

There should be a threaded screw hole towards the bottom of the attachment piece - this holds a flat headed screw that you can adjust in and out to adjust the angle of the speaker.  I can't find a picture, and my RL60s are with my son in UK.

Picture 6a at the options guide here - you need the 'adjustment screw' - it screws into hole in the middle of the bottom of the square metal piece that forms part of the speaker. http://www.beoworld.org/manuals_view.asp?pid=659

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm not a premium member so I can't see the attached file, but I can get an idea of what you're talking about. I think what you're saying is that the "stopper" that on the Beovox S80.2 stands is on the stand itself, something similar is screwed into the speaker on the RL stands.

I obviously don't have this, so now the question is how to improvise, and where it goes.

Found a piccy - you simply insert a flat headed screw into whichever of the 4 threaded holes is at the bottom according to which way your speaker is orientated.

Guy, you're a lifesaver. Thank you very very much.

As it turns out, just browsing around ebay it was kind of amusing to see how many of even the "complete sets" being sold, are looking at the down angle just like mine, so the screw must frequently go the way of the do-do bird on these!

No problem - glad I could help.  And I had exactly the same problem when I first tried to set up my RL60s!
