A couple Beovision 6 - 26 Questions

Hi, I picked up a Beovision 6-26 for a bedroom recently and have a couple questions about it, as its an early model.

The type is 9255, SW 2.6 model 1816133, its not full HD, but that's alright for me

As it does not have HDMI, what are my options for connecting an Apple TV to this? can i use a HDMI-DVI converter?

I am happy to buy an IR blaster(i think its called) and get a set top box. Is there a way to see what set top boxes would be loaded into the TV, or do i have to get a dealer to update it for me?

Is it worth buying a DTV-T module and upgrading the tv? i had a read and they seem very expensive, outweighs what i paid for the tv.
