Hello, I have an oldish set-up that uses MCL cable to link several rooms and I have now used up all my supply of said cable. My question is, can I continue linking rooms by using ML cable (without the ML plugs). I realise that there is some difference in the colour combinations and some extra screening, but that is hardly a show stopper. All the extra pieces of equipment that I intend to link are based on using MCL cables with or without plugs.
Many thanks, Geoff.
I don't know... I was thinking about using a powerlink cable. Does anyone know whether or not this would work?

ML cable is not designed for high power Output signals, which in fact is needed by the MCL System.
So you should be using MCL cable to expand your MCL System.
P.S.: The MCL cable is still availible at Bang&Olufsen........
As said before, ML cable is not designed for speaker cable usage. It`s made for (Hifi) line level signal (balanced) and data.
If you can`t get MCL cable anymore, you can use normal speaker cable (0,75 mm should do it) and a microphone cable (balanced, 2 wires plus shield) for data and power.
