Hello guys!

I´m currently using my B&O Avant as a pair of speakers since the audio is so god damn great. Now, I got a cable with the left and right signal going from the top connections of the TV to my soundcard on my computer. I can access this by going into camcord mode but this will also activate the TV which I dont want, since it will just create unnecessary heat and I would assume it would drain more electricity.

Is it possible to access the speakers only, without having the TV turned on? (The screen so the speak.)

I´ve tried different modes on my Beo4 but none of the more logical one seems to work :/

Big thx in advance! /Simon

Press Standby (red dot) + List at the same time. Remote says 'Add?'

Press Go.

Press List until 'P.Mute'

Press Go. Remote says 'Added'

Now P.Mute appears in your list!

P.Mute (picture mute) turns the picture off on any source and leaves the audio playing.

As Tayne says. It will shut down your screen.

P.Mute is one of those fantastic little extras from B&O. Yes - thumbs up

Too long to list....

I seriously do not have that option :O

I´ve looked through the add list on both my "AV" Beo 4 and my "DVD" Beo 4 and neither of them got that option. I´ll list all the options I get from my DVD BEO4 which seems to have the most options and you tell me whats wrong :P

Track, Edit, Select, Repeat, speaker, P in P, Page, Subcode, Reveal, Index, Counter, Tracking, Sound, Reset, Turn, Return, Record2, V.setup, A.setup, Shift, V Aux, P-V Aux, L-V Aux, A-V Aux, PC, P-PC, L-PC, AV-PC, L-V. TP2, A-V.TP2, Doorcam, Phono, N Radio, L-N RA, L-N.Mus, A.Tape2, CD2, A Aux, Link, Link-AV, SP.Demo

And the once that is currently already programmed is: Camcord, Format, Stand, Clock, V.tape2

AV, then list until CAMCORD, then GO, maybe....

Or attach it to another scart socket via adapter then AV and V.TAPE for example.
