Hello gentlemen.

Does anyone know where to get a spare woofer for a century?

My nephew (5 year old) wrecked one woofer when the covers were off and unit was sitting in a spare room  & stuck a pencil through the cone - there is no sound at all coming from it now.  It is ruined...  Sad

I rang b&o and they said the part is no longer available.

It would be a waste to lose it as it in mint condition.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Thank you

Rex.

Dont know a source for replacement, but elements are after all simlpe mechanical devices... and IMO repairable. If it is absolutely dead, maybe there is just (besides hole) just snapped wire from terminal to voicecoil?

 blah-blah and photographs as needed

Thanks Orava.

I found a replacement from a B&O service center in Western Australia from a broken unit they have there.

My heart is now unbroken.

Thanks.

In Dallas we have a speaker reconing service.  They have been in business since the 1950's.  They can recone any speaker.
