Hi guys,

I just receive my beogram 7000, but it sems the plate is too low in reference too the chassis.

when the arm arrives in the middle of the record, I have a griny sounf like if the metallic plate was scratching against the chassis.

I have red a post with the same problem on a beogram 6500, but it seems it is not the same way to solve the problem.

there is certainly a way to rise up the plate, but could not find it

thanks for your help

Eric

1. Check the transit screws are released.

2. Check the carriage is properly located on the rails.

3. If the platter is still too low, adjust the leaf springs - if necessary a slight tweak upwards should suffice.

The 7000 is identical to the 6500 except for the badge.
