Quality bitstream Internetradio BS5/BS5e

Hi to all,

After a vacation in Greece it was nice to listen to my setup again. I noticed that there were a few of my favourite radiostations changed in soundquality.

I was wondering, is it possible to see the quality (= read bitstream) of the available radiostations?

I prefer a high bitstream, but cannot find any information about it. Nor on the device, nor on the Internet, nor in this forum.

Does anyone know how to get this information? Is the database of B&O accessable?

Hi Bert,

 

Using the BM5 without the BS connected to it, you are able to see the bitstream quality of the broadcasted audio. In combination with the BS5 you're only able to set the minimum quality.

Haven't seen it yet on my BS5e, but if it is the same quality and database that the Beomedia 1 uses, I can see the quality of the bitstream on my tv. Thanks for the suggestions!
