I have a B&O Beocenter 2200 and the turn-table does not seem to be spinning at a consistent speed. Its not spinning fast enough and seems to vary slightly, speeding up to the correct speed for a half second and then dropping off again. From what I have found online I have deduced an old transmission belt and would need to get a new one. Does this sound like a possible solution? I inherited this record player and have never used it before so I don't know its history. And assuming it is a faulty belt could I buy one and install it my self or is this a job for a trained technician only?
I have found a belt online which I think is the right one, can you confirm this is the belt for the
turn table and not the tape drive?

Thanks for all your help
