Got my Remote for the BM 2400, Funny failure, all the left side buttons works, I can change to channel 1,3 and select Phono and lover volume, but non of the right side controls work, I took it apart and cleaned it, but no difference. I will change the caps and see what happens, but the question is, is the failure in the remote or in the BM.
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
Well, on the topic of diagnosing whether it is the remote or the BM, put your ear to the remote and check to see if it makes any noise when the buttons are pressed.
If the remote makes noise on all buttons, there is a problem in the BM.
Beo4 'til I die!
Most likely in the Beomaster. The received signals are grouped according to frequency in there and that corresponds to the leftand right buttons respectively.

As I'm still running my BM 2400 for testing, its still open, will try to figure this out with help of the schematics.
And?
Already any progress?
My BM 2400 remote makes noises when you press on the aluminium buttons.
