I need a new PSU for my MK1 9000. -15v supply missing. Part unavailable from B&O Is any body breaking one for spares? I would consider component level repair if I can get enough information on it. Can't see how it comes out at the moment. Would appreciate some help.
Can you post photos of the PCB - both sides?
PSU problems are generally the easiest to solve, generally schematics are not required.

Service manual is on site.
This has a PWM powersupply which contains 4 different switching units on 1 board.
Not a big problem to solve. Always welcome to repair yours.
Thanks, I have't got board out yet will send pics if I do

Are you sure about the -15 Volts or did you mean -12 volts, see below:-
Regards Keith....
Hi Keith,
sorry, yes I mean -12v. Info given by local B&O dealer who couldn't fix it.
Regards
Peter
Well, now, that's a first.
A B&O dealer who cannot fix a power supply? Come on now, we're not talking about an obsolete CD laser, or even a tape mech.
And this BS9000 is a fairly recent model, definitely not vintage.
I thought that you were going at it yourself, and just wanted help with diagnosis......
Bit of a shock.....
