Hi,

I have a Beosystem AV9000 together with the Master Panel AV9000. I Wonder what Mater Link option i shall use. The Master Panel AV9000 is connected trough a Master Link cable and is standing in the same room.

Also, do I set one option, like option 2 for the entire system or do I have to set separate options for the audio/video system?

Thanks!

AV9000 should be set to V.OPT 2 by default if you have a connected MPAV. The MP does not have an ir receiver on its own, it is not a Beosystem like the 2300/2500. It simply is a remote for the AV9000 with integrated CD player and Radio. It is controlled by the AV9000 ir receiver via Masterlink.

Just a little remark: if you got the MPAV later on and a new masterlink cable it might not work...

Thanks for the help!

I know the Master Panel doesn't have an own ir reciever like the overture and the others. The reason why I'm asking about the masterlink option is because i can't get my Beolink 7000 to work two-way with the audio sources. It did at first, but after I removed and added components on it, i only get two-way communication for my video sources. Otherwise my AV9000 system works perfectly. After checking the ML Option it was set to V.OPT 2 and the Master Panel AV9000 does not work by remote in any other mode.

At first I tought it could have been the ML Option that was set wrong, blocking two-way communication for the Master Panel, but after checking my other B&O products around the house, the remote works two-way with the other televisions but not with the other audio systems. It's probably something wrong with the remote. I bought it dead and I've just fixed it, but maybe there's something else wrong with it.

Anyway, thank you. Now I know the ML Option isn't the problem here. =)

Sounds like you have configured your BL7000 to audio-one-way by changing components (?). It is possible to use BL7000 for video in two-way mode and audio one-way and vice versa.

I recommend to delete all audio components in your BL7000 - store - and ADD all audios again while your AV9000 system can "see" your BL7000 and will store AUDIO in two-way mode.

Hope this helps

Stefan
