Dear members,
today I found out that my DVD2 doesn't respond to the remote as it used to before I've integrated a Beosystem 7000. So here's the current setup:
Avant linked via Masterlink to Beosystem 7000 through Converter 1611. DVD2 linked to Avant as described in the manual. Before adding the Beosystem 7000 it worked without any problem. Hoever, now it seems that neither the DVD2 nor the Avant react to commands from the remote when I try to operate the DVD2. When I operate the DVD2 manually, the signal doesn't reach the Avant. Like I've said, none of these problems have occurred prior to integrating the Beosystem 7000. I should mention that the Avant is in Option 2 and the Beomaster in Option 0.
How can I integrate the DVD2 such that it is again linked to the rest of the system which apparently is no longer the case now?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!
Rgds,
Kai
I've played around a little and it just seems that the TV doesn't receive anything DVD related. Do I have to link the DVD2 to the Beomaster rather than the Avant? It doesn't seem to depend on option programming for the TV and the audio system. Any ideas? Rgds, Kai
Strange - I don't really understand why adding an audio source should upset the Avant. The DVD2 should probably be set up as a B&O V.Tape but should add to the Avant.
Peter
Dear Peter,
it did work until recently but just stopped without me having an idea why (most probably after adding the Beosystem 7000 to my components). The Avant is 8430, so there is V.Tape integrated. The DVD2 used to work when pressing DVD on the Beo4. Any idea what can have happened?
Thanks very much!
Works again. I unplugged the connection from the Avant to tzhe DVD2 as well as the Masterlink and reconnected all devices. Also, I used the second scart connection of the Avant. I don't know what it was, but afterwards it worked as it's supposed to again.
