Dear Forum,

can I connect a Beolink Active (Type 1636, SW 1.1) to a Beomaster 7000 using a Beolink Converter (Type 1611, SW 1.3)?

I have not yet been able to get this setup to work.

I know all components are working!

You can do this. Unplug all systems from the main powersupply.

Then connect the special AUX-cable to your BM7000 (inputsocket TV/Aux) and to the convertor. Then connect a ML-cable between the convertor and the BL Active. Add an IR-eye to your BL-Active. Get the system to the power. Do not forget to set the right option (4,5 or 6) to your BL-active.

Connect the speakers to the powerlinksocket of the BL-Active.

P.s. If you don't have the special Aux-cable, you could use a POwerlinkcable (mk2/3).

I worked out fine!

The error was probably the wrong option settings.

So after selling the Beosound 9000 MKII, my Beolab 4000 are playing via the Beomaster.

Using the Beomaster every day know!

Kids can put in a CD in the Beogram CD (in my home Office) and listen to it in the living room.

Since we also got a SONOS connected to the Beomaster 7000 via enjoy Spotify in the living as we used when we had the Beosound 9000 (only missing its iconic design...).

Oh, and the Masterlink is based on CAT/Network cabling (used two ML to RJ45 cables).

Thanks for your helpt!
