I think it's the same command as a Beocom 1:

9#9#9*HOLD

Hi,

I hope it is ok to borrow this thread,

I need to change the language of a BeoCom 2. I the users manual it says that I need to go to the "handset setting" on the phone. But there is no hand set menu - only the normal settings menu... I only got the base unit for the phone. Is there any way to reset the phone so I can change the language?

I tried the 9#9#9*INT but I could not see any reset option there either.

Hope you guys can help Smile

Hmm, I believe you should be able to change the language under "settings" in the normal menu. Last menu option when you scroll down in the menu settings. No need to reset the handset as far as I know.

You might need to reset the handset to get back to the first-time setup options.   9#9#9*HOLD

I have tried the reset option 9#9#9*INT (same as hold?) But that only takes me to the service menu. I can't see any reset option there either.

In the normal menu I am not given the option to change the language Sad

The production date is 01/2001

On mine there's a hold button so apparently there are several versions.  Try the button to the left of the R.

When I pres the button next to R it just makes an = on the screen. Nothing else happens.
