Hi,

I recently purchased a beocenter 2000, which isn't in greatest condition but sounds fantastic. It has a mmc20s cartridge on the record deck which Im guessing is pretty worn down as I have to put anti skate to around 5g to stop it from skipping but it does sound okay? what I don't really understand is the arm riser seems really flimsy and when lifting arm onto the record it works fine but seems to go out of alignment when returning the arm to rest position. There is also an adjustable screw which seems to effect the height of the riser how do I set this correctly.

Any enlightening information much appreciated.
